About Me

Fabrizio Matillana (AA Dipl, RIBA Part II) was born in Lima, Peru and graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture  in London in 2010. He is an Architectural Designer at AStudio Architecture under Richard Hyams (Former Project Director at Foster + Partners and Design Director of AEDAS London), with experience in UK based projects and abroad. He has worked on projects throughout all RIBA stages in the civic, education, healthcare, office, retail sectors, both new build and refurbishment projects, as well as exhibition and installation design. He is part of the R&D at Astudio, researching retrofitting existing buildings by re-cladding and facade design by means of parametric modelling. He is fluently bilingual in Spanish and English and knowledgeable in French and Portuguese.
