Fabrizio Matillana (AA Dipl, RIBA Part II) was born in Lima, Peru and graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London in 2010, doing his 5th year in Diploma Unit 14, tutored by Pier Vittorio Aureli (Berlage Institute), Barbara Campbell-Lange (Bartlett) and Fennella Colingridge (RCA). He is an Architectural Designer at AStudio Architecture under Richard Hyams (Former Project Director at Foster + Partners and Design Director of AEDAS London), with experience in UK based projects and abroad. He has worked on projects throughtout RIBA stages A-G in the civic, education, healthcare, office, retail sectors as well as exhibition and installation design. He is part of the Re-Skin project, researching retrofitting existing buildings by recladding and facade design by means of parametric modelling and interfaces in Generative Components. He is fluently billingual in Spanish and English and knowledgeable in French and Portguese.
